Meyong is fast, standing out for her speed, movement and brilliant finishing in the colours of the Indomitable Lionesses.
She scored Louves Minproff’s only goal in the final as they defeated Amazones FAP to reclaim the Cameroon Women’s League title in March, before the 21-year-old starred at her maiden Women’s World Cup outing, participating in all four matches in France this summer.
The attacking midfielder also scored the opener for Cameroon as they defeated Cote d’Ivoire 2-1 in November to reach the final of the Tokyo 2020 Caf Olympic Qualifiers.
She certainly will be heavily relied upon as Louves, who currently occupy the summit of the Cameroonian top flight, seek to claim their fifth title.
Her ability and impressive finishing are valuable assets as Cameroon eye an Olympic Games return in 2020 and search for maiden continental glory at the African Women’s Cup of Nations.
