Minister of Zongo and Inner Cities, Dr Mustapha Hamid has said that government’s flagship programme, Free Senior High School (SHS) has help in the reduction of poverty in the zongo communities.

The Minister was speaking on Accra-based Kingdom FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com
He noted that “People in the Zongo’s appreciate the good work that this government has done in our various communities since we came into office, the Free Education has really cut poverty down, and we are most grateful”.
Speaking o the fringe benefits of Free SHS, Mustapha Hamid PHD mentioned the policy will be of immense benefit to parents and has the tendency of helping in the reduction of unemployment.
Touting government’s achievement, Mustapha mentioned that “We also know that the government has revived the National Health Insurance and we are enjoying it again. And we are also building Astro turfs in various Zongo’s to ensure we develop various football talents to help the nation”.
