Enormously influential member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, says he is unable to imagine what will be contained in the campaign message of National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama since in his estimation, the NPP has performed much better in every sphere of governance.

“I wonder what John Mahama’s campaign message will be in 2020. On the economy: Akufo-Addo has done better. On health: Akufo-Addo has done better. On education: Akufo-Addo has done better. On infrastructure, Akufo-Addo is doing much better. 5 major interchanges being built all at the same time; never in our history. With this Govt, Ghanaians can see where their money is going,” he declared in a social media post sighted by MyNewsGh.com.
The former Executive Director of the pro-NPP think-tank,
Danquah Institute, urged Ghanaians to follow the facts and ignore any
propaganda.
“Follow the facts. Not the propaganda,” he
appealed.
The NPP has insisted through various media that it has
outperformed the previous NDC government and deserves and second term so as to
carry through some of its yet-to-be-fulfilled promises.
But the NDC has maintained that the government has failed,
is corrupt and deserves no re-election.
Mr Asare Otchere-Darko, who holds no official government
post, is generally regarded as a powerful ally of President Nana Addo Dankwa
Akufo-Addo who is privy to happenings in the government.
His comments are were in reaction to the commissioning and distribution of 307 newly procured ambulances for constituencies by the Ministry of Special Development Initiative wit partnership from the Ministry of Health.
