A former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Aspirant for Nkwanta South, Richard Manuribe has sent a word of caution to the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
According to him, Jean Mensah and her colleagues are bent on going ahead to compile a new register against the wish of Ghanaians.
To him, the EC should kowtow to the pressure been mounted on it to put an end to the planned exercise.
“She should be very careful about the things she wants to do in Ghana. Ghanaians are saying she should drop it. She should just take the agenda of compiling a new voters register out of this country,” he said while speaking on Accra-based Kingdom FM.
He mentioned that if the EC chair and her colleagues decide to pay a deaf ear to the calls of the Ghanaian, the NDC and its members will invade offices of the Commission to stop the exercise.
