Some politicians across the country have joined the fight against Corona Virus.
Most of them have taken to the streets to educate patrons while donating materials aimed at preventing any contraction.
In the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah region, the story is not different.
Both the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Salaga South Constituency Adam Salifu Braimah and the Parliamentary Candidate for the opposition NDC Hajia Zuweira Ibrahima have made donations to the Salaga government hospital.
Infrared Thermometers, Veronica Buckets, detergents, washing soaps were some items donated by the politicians.
Hajia Zuweira, the NDC candidate for Salaga South said, her donation came at the back of the directive of former President John Mahama entreating party faithful to help the government fight COVID-19.
The candidate through the constituency executives appealed to residents to comply with preventive measures as announced by the health ministry.
The Savannah Regional Minister and MP for the area has since the beginning of the week visited several areas in the region to ascertain the level of commitment in the fight against the pandemic.
He has since visited the More National park, the Chache border in the Bole District, Sawla and Salaga.
