I'm for the lifting of the ban on OKADA. Why is it working perfectly in the French speaking countries. Why the HYPOCRISY. They are working anyway under our noses. Ask those living in the remote areas, they'll tell you even OKADA is a luxury. In the three Northern regions aren't they operating 'nicely' n obeying traffic regulations to the letter. Even Indian with their huge population are operating it n with rickshaw as well. Tell our road engineers to build wide roads, n provide bicycle/motor cycle lanes.
Which engineer designed the bus lane close to the "SHIP HOUSE" at TESANO. Hundred to two hundred metres bus lane. A HUGE JOKE
We can't regulate okada in Ghana, pls, let's not deceive ourselves. We can't control them, go to Uganda and Alata and see what's happening there. Rwanda is more organized as a country and so don't just keep talking about Rwanda
More than 90% of motorbike riders are lawless and it is used mostly for criminal activities. We are already battling with security issues. Don't invite more troubles.
Parliament should not make a mistake of legalizing motorbike as a means of transportation in Ghana.
