Ranking Member, Communications Committee of Parliament, Alhaji A.B.A. Fuseini has bemoaned the kind of treatment being meted out to persons who break lockdown rules by the various security agencies.
In an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com he observed it is very sad and disrespectful to treat one’s own people like ‘animals’ during the lockdown.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sagnarigu constituency in the Northern Region who was speaking with Citizen Kofi Owusu on Ahotor FM Morning Show said all the people being treated like ‘animals’ for going against lockdown rules are all citizens of Ghana.
“…According to the constitution, every citizen has his or her own right and the lockdown does not take away our right as citizens to be treated like ‘pig’ or ‘cows’ sheep just like animals”, he said.
According to Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini, this treatment can not be tolerated anywhere except here in Ghana.
“Look at how they treated the helpless kayayi, you know they have nowhere to sleep or go you should have provided for them first, they were moving because they have no money and nowhere to go during the lockdown”, he added.
