The President of Ghana has extended the partial lockdown by one more week to allow for contact tracing and testing of suspected cases.
This according to the President, Ghanaians should bear with him adding that this is to help in the fight to contain the deadly virus.
The Partial lockdown is still limited to Greater Accra, Greater Kumasi and Tema and will take effect from Monday, April 13 at 1am.
The President used the opportunity to call on Ghanaians to cooperate with Security agencies in the country in order to help in the smooth operation of the partial lockdown.
