Former President, John Dramani Mahama will today address the country today christened “Digital Conversation” which will be centered on issues bothering healthcare infrastructure which has dominated several discussions in the country after President Akufo-Addo in his eighth address mentioned that COVID-19 has brought about the realization of Ghana’s weak health systems.
The Former President is expected to make Ghanaians aware of the various investments his government made in the health sector and the various projects which have been “abandoned by the current government.
Apart from infrastructure, the former President of Ghana and leader of the NDC will address the healthcare system in Ghana and focus on the availability PPEs and other needed health materials as the country fights to contain the deadly COVID-19.
Healthcare and Infrastructure has dominated headlines this week after the President in his eighth address promised to build 88 District hospitals and 6 regional hospitals in the 6 new regions he created in the country.
The opposition has argued that the government needs to complete the various hospitals built by the Mahama administration before it focuses on building other hospitals in the country.
