Information gathered by MyNewsGh.com suggests that some two aspirants in the Tafo Pankrono New Patriotic Party(NPP) race collapsed after the results of the elections were declared.
According to our sources, one Emmanuel Obeng who is the Chief Executive Officer of Trinity Hospital became unconscious and was rushed to the hospital to receive medical care after he garnered 44 of the total votes cast on the day.
Also, Dr. Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor who is the founder and leader of Pepperdem Ministries; a feminist advocacy group who also contested for the candidacy in the just ended Primaries was also rushed as the shock of her defeat hit her so hard that she collapsed.
Sources say she was rushed to a private hospital and is currently stable and recovering from the shock she from the loss considering the fact that she was sure of a great win on the day because she received massive endorsement from delegates prior to the election.
The Tafo Pankrono seat was contested for by 6 aspirants with the Ministry of Education Public Relations Officer(NPP) winning by 299 votes on the day.
The NPP voted in its second phase for its Parliamentary candidates for the 2020 elections.
