Former Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) President, Bice Osei Kuffour known popularly as Obour has pledged his total support for the incumbent Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem South, Kwaku Asante-Boateng.
According to him, since he promised the President of Ghana 10,000 more votes in the general election, he will support the incumbent member of parliament to win for the NPP.
He said “I am sure most of the things that we had campaigned on now that we have a parliamentary candidate the 10,000 votes we promised Nana Addo, it is coming in its numbers”.
Obour noted that his defeat was as a result of his inexperience in politics; hailing his opponent for having some tricks he didn’t have.
“Definitely he may have some tricks I don’t have,” the first timer said.
Obour lost the Asante Akyem South bid by getting 296 of the votes cast on the day.
