Parliamentary Candidate for the NDC in the Navrongo Central Constituency, Sampson Tamgombu Chiragia has assured the people in the Constituency of an issues-based campaign in the lead up to the 2020 elections.
Most electioneering campaigns in Ghana are insults laden with attacks from camps of the opposing teams.
But in a post on Facebook, Sampson Tamgombu Chiragia assured the people of Navrongo that he will not meddle with insults but rather stick to the issues to offer the discerning voters a competent option for Parliament.
He said “Candidly , I must add that I am committed to an issue-based political discourse devoid of insults and incendiary vituperations”.
He called on his opponent in the NPP to do same so the December election is insults and attack-free.
” I hope my opponent Hon. Abayage and the entire NPP in Navrongo Central will also commit themselves to the same standards.”
The Upper East Regional Minister, Tangoba-Abayage beat off stiff competition from the Aviation Minister in the NPP Primaries Saturday and will represent the New Patriotic Party, NPP, in the December 2020 elections.
