Social Commentator, Kwame A Plus says Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who hitherto used to expose lying politicians as a journalist is now a leader of the lying crusade.
According to him, Oppong Nkrumah while at the Multimedia Group as Morning Show host tried his best at exposing politicians who lied then and people were of the view that his like joining politics will have changed the status quo.
But since coming to power and his appointment as Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah according to A Plus is now the one lying for the politician; a betrayal of the trust reposed in him by a cross-section of Ghanaians.
A Plus who made this known through a post on Facebook said “My brother Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah was the host of Joy fm super morning show. I remember how he used to ask politicians questions and always tried to expose thier lies. Today he is the one who lies for politicians.”
Accompanying the post was a photo of an untarred road the Minister plies before he gets to his constituency.
A Plus expressed shock at the fact that the Minister was proud in sharing such a photo of a bad road on his page when he has the power to ensure that the roads are tarred.
“He drives on this road in his constituency to go and ask people to come out and register to vote for him. African politicians only care about votes. He is still a very good friend though, if not a brother.”
