Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Aspirant for Nkwanta South, Richard Manuribe has stated that courtesy the New Patriotic Party (NNP) Ghanaians now live in real danger of COVID-19.
According to Manuribe, the just-ended New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries is the cause of the spike of coronavirus cases in the country.
Speaking on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7 monitored by MyNewsGh.com, he said the just ended NPP primaries the party members failed to adhere to the COVID-19 safety protocols which has led to the rapid rise of the virus in the country.
“The just ended NPP primaries is the reason why Ghana is recording more cases because when they went for the primaries the party members flouted the COVID-19 protocols,” he said.
He stressed that’’ President Nana Akufo-Addo has fallen short of combating the coronavirus in Ghana as cases continue to soar.’’
He believed the President has failed to implement certain measures that would have curtailed the spread.
