The President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says electricity continues to remain cheaper under his watch since he took over power in 2017.
According to him, when he took over the governance of the country, his administration reduced electricity tariffs by 25% to make lives more comfortable for the people of Ghana.
The President indicated that apart from domestic reduction of tariffs similar gesture was made to the various mines in the country where their tariffs were reduced by 10%.
He said this reduction reduced spending on power and made room for the employment of some Ghanaians at these mines.
The President reminded Ghanaians that he ended the intermittent power cuts that crippled various businesses across the country and saved several enterprises across the country.
