Deputy National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr. Kwaku Boahen has vowed to vacate his position in the party and quit politics completely should the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo wins the December 7 elections.
According to him, it doesn’t matter the campaign strategy the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo adopts, he is going to be disgraced by the Former President John Dramani Mahama in the up-coming elections which is barely 12 days away.
Mr. Kwaku Boahen speaking Kumasi-based Nhyira Fm in an interview with Papa Nyameke monitored by MyNewsGH.com categorically stated that looking at the good policies of the NDC enshrined in the party’s manifesto, there are clear indications that Former President John Dramani Mahama is going to win the elections hands down.
When asked if he (Kwaku Boahen) would be surprised to see Ghanaians rejecting Mr. Mahama for the second time he rebutted, “it can never happen, Nana Addo can run to a Mallam or go beneath the earth, and he will still lose the 2020 elections”.
“If Nana Addo wins, I will quit politics. He can seek all spiritual powers from the sea, from a Mallam or even the Pope himself, Akufo-Addo will lose this elections”, Mr. Kwaku Boahen stated.
