Deputy General Secretary for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen has expressed doubt in the capabilities of the current crop of NDC leaders to run the affairs of the country.
According to him, the governing NPP will hand them the biggest defeat in the December 7 polls..
Nana Obiri Boahen who spoke to Accra-based Starr FM in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com said as far as he is concerned, the NDC is never coming back to powe, arguing that they do not have the needed skill to run the affairs ofthe country..
He did not base his predictions on Prophecies and polls run by organizations but rather on the work done by the NPP since it took over office in 2017.
He said “NDC presently being led by Mahama is unfit to lead this country. We are going to deliver a heavy blow to the NDC. As long as Obiri Boahen is alive, the NDC is not coming to power. I don’t rely on opinion polls, prophecies. But I rely on the volume of work we have put into this exercise”.
Meanwhile, the President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said during his campaign tour of the Greater Accra region that when John Dramani Mahama was given the opportunity to run the affairs of the country he failed.
He said after Ghanaians booted Mahama from power he has been lying to the citizens making promises he is aware he cannot deliver.
