The Management of Adom TV a subsidiary of the Multimedia Cluster has rendered an unqualified apology to the President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for agreeing to broadcast a video in which the President is supposedly seen taking bribe.
According to the Media Entity, the content of the videowhich they allowed to air on theirTelevision station does not represent the full story.
The Management said it has realized that the video is from a video which was taken from a video taken in 2016 during the electoral campaign and therefore wishes to apologize to the President for any harm caused for availing its platform to publish the malicious video.
The video has since been taken down from all its platforms on social media and the President has been assured that nothing of the sort will happen again.
