Ghana midfielder, Bernard Mensah, has scored a brace on Thursday afternoon to help Besiktas beat Fatih Karagumruk 4-1 in the Turkish Super Lig.
The game was played at the Vefa Stadium in matchday 19 of the ongoing 2020/21 Turkish season.
Vincent Aboubakar netted the first goal of the game in the 44th minute to end the first period 1-0 in favour of Besiktas.
After the break, the visitors maintained momentum and doubled their lead in the 50th minute courtesy of Bernard Mensah’s effort.
With Cyle Larin finding the back of the net to increase the lead for the Black Eagles, Mensah will four minutes later score again to make the score line 4-0 for his side.
Later on, Fabio Borini converted from the spot to give Fatih Karagumruk a consolation as the game ended 4-1 for Besiktas.
The 26-year-old lasted seventy-one minutes and made way for Dorukhan Tokoz to come on for the remainder of the game.
The on loan Kayserispor midfielder has now made seventeen appearances for Besiktas; scoring four goals and assisted another one.
