Ghana winger, Isaac Atanga, says he’s excited to have scored for Nordsjaelland in their 2-1 win against Viborg FF at the Right to Dream Park in their second preseason game on Friday.
Emeka Nnamani and Isaac Atanga scored the goals for Nordsjaelland before Viborg got a consolation in the dying embers of the game.
The 20-year-old Right to Dream Academy graduate believes the win will give them a lot of confidence going into the new season.
“I think it felt good to play the second training match. The win gives us a lot of confidence that we can take on in the league,” he said, as quoted by the club’s website.
“It seems that everyone is in good shape and has a positive mindset. That is the most important thing.
“So, I’m really happy. Now it’s about moving forward. I can’t wait until we really start again.”
