After another electoral defeat, the leadership of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is admitting that all is not well within the party despite previous public denials by some Executives at various levels.
“There is crises in the party now. Let’s us not deceive ourselves after losing 2020 polls. However, we can make it going forward for the 2024 general elections”, Ashanti Regional Secretary of the party, Kwame Zu openly and unreservedly confessed.
Speaking to the Tertiary Institutions Network (TEIN) chapter of Appiah-Menkah University of Skills Development and Entrepreneurial branch of the party over the weekend in Kumasi, Mr. Kwame Zu asked the students to continue lending their support to the party
According to the Regional Secretary, going forward for the next general elections, NDC will need educated persons to take Executive positions at various levels to explain policies and programs to people of Ghana.
“I would humbly appeal to you people not to abandon party at this moment. This is the time we need you and protect the ballots in the coming elections”, Mr. Kwame Zu appealed.
“…the future of NDC greatly depends on TEIN members like yourself”, the Regional Secretary said.
